I make stuff up.
"Just one class" I told my friend who kept bugging me to try improv. That was in 1997 and here I am.
When I'm not performing improv I'm coaching improv. When I'm not doing that I'm a homeschooling mom to three kids. Wait, I have that backwards. When I'm not with my kids I'm doing improv.
I've also been a life coach for almost two decades and let me tell you... taking an improv class is a surprisingly effective way to get better at life.
I also have a degree in Secondary Education, a Masters in Theatre, a past career in Corporate America traveling the globe and managing large scale projects, and of course organizing the company's annual paintball games as Xena the Paintball Warrior Princess.
Come to think about it, when you pair that with my last-minute Halloween costume in 4th Grade as Super Prune I think I've always been doing improv.
My background has helped me teach teens improv, teach adults improv, do corporate shows and training, and bring the ability to think on your feet with a smile on your face back to the masses. Life is good.
I'm a founding member of Game Changer Improv, a teacher at Recycled Minds Comedy, and you can also catch me at Open World Comedy, on stage with Megan Bryant and Friends some awesome months, and in other shows in the Boise area.
